Nadia Nakai has asked her fans to help her reach one million views on YouTube for the ‘Naaa Meeaan’ official music video.
It is not common for a South African artist of any genre to reach one million YouTube views for an official music video. However, rapper Nadia Nakai is well on her way to achieving this feat, as her single ‘Naaa Meeaan’, featuring Cassper Nyovest, currently sits on 997,945 views on the music streaming platform.
Nakai took to social media on Saturday to ask her fans to help her reach the one million views goal. She wrote, “About 6000 views to go till I get my first music video reaching 1 Million views!!! Guys make this happen for me!!!!! ???♀️??♀️??♀️?? Mad love! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ #Bragga #MakingMoneyNeverBeenAnIssue.”
Her devoted fans naturally jumped at the challenge to sky-rocket the song’s number of views. Many have pledged to play the single on repeat until it reaches the desired mark.
The official music video for ‘Naaa Meeaan’ was released on 24 January 2018. The music video was nominated for the Best Music Video of the Year at the 2018 South African Music Awards.
