UMG SA has confirmed that Nasty C is set to release his new single, Best I Ever Had, which marks the first independent release since the Zulu Man With Some Power album.
Universal Music Group (UMG) South Africa (SA) released a statement on Wednesday, 2 June 2021, to confirm that Def Jam signee, Nasty C, is set to release a new single titled Best I Ever Had. The single has been confirmed as an independent single from his 2020 album, Zulu Man With Some Power.
According to the statement, “Cementing his place as one of South Africa’s foremost rappers, Nasty C drops the bass-laden Best I Ever Had. As the opening lyrics reveal, Best I Ever Had finds Nasty in a mellow mood and comfortably in his bag. He layers his trademark flows over a pulsing beat replete with claps, hi hats and ever present strings. In a brief yet engrossing listen, Nasty C brandishes his self-assured flow to address a love interest who both excites and bemuses him.”
The rapper is currently pursuing his international acclaim ambitions as he is currently in Los Angeles, California. During his stay, he has been seen with the likes of Wale and Earth Gang.
