Nasty C shares snippet of SMA music video, featuring Rowlene

Rapper Nasty C took to social media on Sunday, 17 March 2019, to share a video of himself watching his upcoming SMA music video, featuring songstress Rowlene.

On Sunday, 17 March 2019, Nasty C posted a video on Twitter of himself watching the music video for SMA on a television screen in his hotel room. From the snippet, Nasty C and Rowlene can be seen facing each other and singing the song’s lyrics to each other. The single is taken off the rapper’s critically acclaimed sophomore album, Strings And Bling, which was released in July 2018.

SMA, short for ‘send me away’, is a mid-tempo, lo-fi inspired song, with the introduction being the playing of a grand piano. The song is about Nasty C and his girlfriend’s relationship. Nasty C raps about the initial toxic relationship between them, both cheating and lying to each other. Runaway songstress Rowlene sings the hook with Nasty C while the chorus is a solo effort.

Following the release of the two lead singles, Jungle and King, from his sophomore album and the accompanying music videos, Nasty C continues to promote his full body of work. Recently, on Friday, 15 March 2019, he released the latest single from the album, track ten SMA featuring Rowlene.

Nasty C captioned the tweet, “tomorrow #SMA”. The music video is set to be released today, 18 March 2019.
