Nomzamo Mbatha has lunch with Felicia Mabuza-Suttle in the US

Nomzamo Mbatha took to Twitter to respond to a post that revealed the popular South African actress as part of a group of South Africans who met up to have lunch in America.

South African-born actress, Nomzamo Mbatha, is currently shooting her debut American full-length feature film, Coming 2 America. The film is a sequel to the Eddie Murphy-led successful 1988 film, Coming To America. However, the former Isibaya famed actress resurfaced on social media on Thursday, 29 August 2019. Part of what she shared with her fans was her lunch with a host of successful South African personalities that are currently making, or have made, a name for themselves in the United States of America.

Retweeting a post by legendary former South African television host, Felicia Mabuza-Suttle, Nomzamo Mbatha revealed having had lunch with her fellow South Africans in America. The post was initially shared by the celebrated television host, Felicia Mabuza-Suttle, on Monday, 26 August 2019. In the image, the group poses for the camera as the table consists of celebrated names like Lebo M and Atandwa Kani in attendance.

In her caption to the post, Felicia Mabuza-Suttle wrote, “Always fun to break bread with my #Mzansi peeps. They had us inside the restaurant and I told the host: “We are going to be loud. Sit us outside.” Atandwa Kani walked up singing opera. Nomzamo Mbatha turned heads, Lebo M joked, [and] Jerry Mpufane mediated. #Mzansi in the house!”

Nomzamo replied to the post, simply reflecting, “Such a beautiful afternoon it was!” She then added heart emojis to seal the message. Fans of the stars commented on how special it was to see South Africans coming together, even when they are away from home. One follower wrote, “Love this Mama. SA love, together we are stronger.”

Media personality, Hulisani Ravele also commented on the image writing, “This post gave me all the proud South African citizen feels! Shine brighter Mzansians!”
