Nomzamo Mbatha reflects on some of her most fulfilling philanthropic pursuits

The South African media personality took to Instagram on Friday, 16 August 2019, to share some nostalgic memories from some of her philanthropic work in the past year.

Nomzamo Mbatha is not only an actress and businesswoman, she is also a philanthropist, having travelled around the globe to attend various philanthropic events. She took to Instagram to share nostalgic memories of her recent work with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR).

The media personality posted videos where she is seen interacting with children in a classroom, dancing and sharing her isiZulu culture. The actress also shared the video of her love letter to South African women, which she had previously shared to commemorate her Cosmopolitan cover in July 2018. The love letter is a celebration of women in South Africa where she highlights all of the things she has learnt. The star also shares some advice and points out that is it important for women to stand up for themselves.

Nomzamo Mbatha captioned the post with a heartfelt message. She thanked the organisation for allowing her to work them and detailed her dreams and plans on how she wishes to help South African communities and various facilities that aim to help with the nourishment of babies and small children. She wrote, in part, “The desire of my heart is to build schools and learning centres in South African townships and across the African continent. To also start a program on renovating, refurbishing and equipping maternity and paediatric wards in marginalised communities”.
