Ntsiki Mazwai has confirmed that her legal battles with DJ Fresh have come to an end, after she was sued for stating that she believes DJ Fresh’s alleged victim.
Ntsiki Mazwai took to Twitter on Thursday, 22 July 2021, to confirm that her legal battles with DJ Fresh have been concluded. The post comes after media personality, Penny Lebyane took to Twitter on Wednesday, 21 July 2021, to commemorate the one-year mark since the social media activation, Sue Us All, started. The activation was started to garner support for the alleged victim who spoke out against DJ Fresh and Euphonik, whom alleged sexually assaulted her.
When the Twitter user spoke up, some media personalities rallied behind her and shared the stories they had allegedly experienced or heard as well. Mazwai was one of the media personalities to do so, and as a result, DJ Fresh took her to court for defamation of character. Lebyane was also threatened with similar legal action, however, she was reportedly never served.
Mazwai, in sharing her appreciation post for the support, wrote, in part, “I have been so blessed with miracles [through] my storm. I would like to thank everyone who has helped with my legal bills. I don’t know how to thank you enough for relieving me of such anxiety. Thank you.”
