Ntsiki Mazwai uses Shimza scandal to question his career, yet again

Published on

Ntsiki Mazwai has joined the cyberbullying of Shimza, in light of the social media blow he was dealt by Mmusi Maimane.

Ntsiki Mazwai took to Twitter on Thursday, 7 October 2021, to continue the social media assault on producer-DJ and businessman, Shimza. For the past two days, Shimza has been the butt of many jokes and punchlines on Twitter. This is after One South Africa Movement (OSA) leader, Mmusi Maimane showcased Shimza’s lack of knowledge about governance and construction. Shimza confused the abbreviations of PFMA and MFMA for degrees while attempting to defend the African National Congress (ANC).

Instead of conceding defeat gracefully, Shimza returned to social media and attempted to skip over the matter by focusing on his businesses. However, his stance only further fuelled the cyberbullying he received. As a result, Shimza has temporarily stepped away from the platform. Seeing as his name is trending, Mazwai opted to revisit her previous lambaste.

Mazwai has previously taken to Twitter to question why Shimza is a respected producer-DJ if he does not have certified hit singles. It was explained to Mazwai that Shimza is respected due to his deejaying ability as one of the best afro-tech live DJs. However, that has not stopped Mazwai from asking the same question again, in light of the already ongoing cyberbullying he is facing.
