Okmalumkoolkat has released a documentary on the making of his recent EP, Bhlomington, which features cameo appearances from Sho Madjozi and Zoocci Coke Dope.
Okmalumkoolkat premiered the Making of Bhlomington (Documentary) on Friday, 17 July 2020. The documentary details the process of creating his recently released six-track EP, Bhlomington, which boasts singles such as Ooh Ya Shuu, Amakamera Angshoote and Hawaiian, featuring Da L.E.S.
The rapper first promoted the release of the documentary on Thursday, 16 July 2020, with an announcement post on Instagram. He then returned to Instagram on Friday, 17 July 2020, to preview the documentary before its official premiere.
The documentary is an over 12-minute-long visual experience. More than just tackling the creation of the EP, Okmalumkoolkat intercut the narrative by explaining the creative process that went into creating a brand like Spova Gang, which has garnered a cult following. The documentary also features Sho Madjozi and Zoocci Coke Dope, who worked with Okmalumkoolkat on the EP.
