Okmalumkoolkat documents trip to Nigeria to promote his new music

On Friday, 26 July 2019, Okmalumkoolkat took to his Instagram page to share the preview of his Nigeria trip documentary, which details him recording new music.

South African musician, Okmalumkoolkat, shared a short documentary of his time in Nigeria following an earlier announcement that he was due to release it. The video begins with him in a plane when he announces that he is on his way to Nigeria. The documentary further details him doing photoshoots, touring the city of Lagos and creating music in studio.

During his trip, Okmalumkoolkat worked with various artists from Nigeria on his new music. In the shared video clip, he can be seen behind a recording microphone in a studio as he works on some of the songs that are due to be released.

Some of the musicians Okmalumkoolkat worked with during his musical trip include artists, Idyl and Alpha, and a host of producers including Sons of Sonix, Pheelz, TMXO and Moss 2Kriss.

The video ends off with Okmalumkoolkat doing a dance-off by himself whilst people cheer him on in the background as he shows off his moves.

Since releasing the video, some social media users, have expressed their anticipation for the release of the new songs he was working on during his trip in Nigeria. “Please release the track”, one social media user said in the comments.

Okmalumkoolkat has yet to announce when he will be releasing the new songs.
