South African musician, Okmalumkoolkat, has yet again extended the operation dates for his Durban Spova pop-up store. The caption reads “Bayavuma!!!”, meaning ‘they agree’. He then announced that he is extending the operation dates for the pop-up store until month end.
Okmalumkoolkat occasionally hosts the pop-up store in various cities around the country, showcasing his personally-designed Spova merchandise. Before taking to Durban, Okmalumkoolkat hosted a similar pop-up store in Braamfontein, Johannesburg. The Spova-branded merchandise features various items, including colourful sweaters boasting the brand’s design.
The Durban pop-up store was initially scheduled to take place from 4 to 7 July 2019. In a later post following the scheduled date, Okmalumkookat mentioned that the pop-up store would be extended until Friday, 12 July 2019.
The date has further been extended to month end as it seems there is a high demand for the branded merchandise.
