Iconic South African producer and DJ, Oskido, has shared that he is working on a new single, Udakiwe, which will feature Kid X, Professor and Mpumi.
Legendary South African producer and DJ, Oskido, has shared a video revealing that he is currently working on a new single, which will see him feature kwaito icon, Professor; hip-hop artist, Kid X and female house vocalist, Mpumi. The DJ shared a video of the group in studio together, working on the song on Thursday, 18 July 2019.
In the video, the artists are all in studio, except Mpumi. In the studio with them is also RapLyf records owner and rapper Kwesta. The video, which was taken by Oskido, pans around the room as Professor, Kid X and Kwesta bop their heads to the song as they listen back to it. The video ends with Oskido repeating his verse live, while it also plays in the background.
The video does not reveal the title of the single, but Oskido’s caption to the video is what tells fans what the upcoming single will be called. Although Oskido does not say when the single will be released, if he does release it in 2019, it will mark the fifth single that he has released this year alone.
His first release of 2019 was in April, titled Itafula, featuring, Sdudla Somdantso, Drum Pope and Mapiano. He also released two other singles ahead of his latest single, Balambile, featuring ABBEY and continued collaborators, Drum Pope and Mapiano.
