Pearl Thusi and her daughters sport long braided cornrows on the cover of Good Housekeeping Magazine

Pearl Thusi and her daughters, Thando and Okuhle, are gracing the cover of Good Housekeeping Magazine for November and December, whilst showing off their matching hair-dos.

The South African actress, who has also gained prominence in the international television and film industry, will be featured as the cover girl for Good House Keeping Magazine, alongside her daughters, Thando and Okuhle, for their upcoming November and December issue. The image displayed on the front cover shows the mother and her daughters sporting long, beaded cornrows which, according to the magazine, is the perfect summer look.

The magazine features an article which details Pearl’s process of maintaining healthy, good-looking braids, and provides tips and tricks to achieve that. According to the November and December issue of Good Housekeeping Magazine, Pearl suggests that it is important to keep your scalp moisturized by using almond, apricot or castor oil. It is also important to keep your braids clean by washing them regularly. Thereafter, you would need to protect your braids when you sleep by wearing a silk or satin cloth, redo your edges in between hair-dos and remember not to leave them in for too long as it will leave long-lasting damage to your hair.

Pearl Thusi is known to showcase a number of hair-dos, most recently sporting her natural hair on social media. Pearl is also the owner of the hair product brand, Black Pearl, which promotes natural, healthy and sleek hair.
