Podcast and Chill with MacG’s latest episode was a surprise celebrity edition of the weekly roundup with rapper, Maggz, featuring throughout.
Podcast and Chill with MacG took to Twitter on Monday, 13 September 2021, to confirm the availability of the latest episode. Fans of the podcast know that the Monday edition of Podcast and Chill is focused on providing a weekly roundup, and the Thursday edition is the celebrity interview. However, the weekly roundup was surprisingly conducted with the inclusion of celebrated rapper, Maggz.
Maggz featured throughout the episode. During his appearance, MacG, Ghost Lady and Solphenduka managed to straddle between providing the weekly roundup and asking Maggz personal questions. Much like the caption suggests, Maggz touched on record labels, the making of his hit single, Fire, by Da L.E.S and featuring Bongani Fassie, his past relationship with Khanya Mkangisa and the state of music today.
Some of the surprising moments was Maggz’ candour on the demise of his relationship with Bongani Fassie, his unintended social media rivalry with Cassper Nyovest, and how both he and MacG have previously been in intimate relationships with Khanya Mkangisa.
