Podcast and Chill with MacG: Celebrity Edition featuring Boohle and Njelic has been uploaded on YouTube, with the extended version featuring Boohle defending Josiah De Disciple.
Podcast with MacG took to Twitter on Thursday, 16 September 2021, to confirm that the contentious celebrity edition episode of Podcast and Chill with MacG, featuring Boohle and Njelic was available to view on YouTube. The interview first aired on Channel O on Wednesday, 15 September 2021, ahead of its availability on YouTube. Following the televised airing, the episode received attention after fans believed that Boohle was slighting Cassper Nyovest, due to his previous utterances that he wrote the melody and arrangement of Siyathandana.
However, upon watching the episode, Boohle merely stated that she wrote the chorus, Abidoza produced the song and Nyovest wrote his verse. Moreover, Boohle also received backlash for allegedly slighting Josiah De Disciple’s wife when she confirmed that they did not like one another. However, the star merely came across as being candid rather than spiteful.
