Prince Kaybee references DJ Maphorisa’s controversial tweet on masters ownership, encouraging multiple streams of income
Producer and deejay, Prince Kaybee, took to Twitter to reiterate the importance of artists having a diverse portfolio and multiple streams of income, referencing his social media feud with DJ Maphorisa over music masters ownership.
On Thursday, 19 March 2020, Prince Kaybee suggested that the cancellation of gigs has not heavily impacted his earning potential because he has a diverse portfolio, meaning multiple streams of income. Prince Kaybee stated that he was initially regarded as arrogant when he listed his various business ventures and investments, in response to DJ Maphorisa’s controversial Twitter thread on music masters ownership.

They called me arrogant when I said “Diversify Your Potfolio”

One day when you have woke rich friends they will tell you that one stream of income will give birth to the 2nd, 3rd, so they help each other out in times where the other is not doing well.
But I don’t wanna overwhelm you with my asset register, they will call it boasting? https://t.co/Ssh5OO2htC
