South African DJ and producer, Prince Kaybee, took to Instagram to share a video of himself and fellow musician, Mr Thulz, as they worked on new music in his home studio.
In a lengthy video shared on Instagram on Sunday, 20 October 2019, the musician was seen in his home studio with Mr Thulz, as they worked on various instrumentals while trying to find a new sound. Both artists began by mixing their own version of the Christmas carol, Joy To The World, before collectively playing the keyboard while bringing in house-inspired instrumentals. Prince Kaybee also introduced backing vocals to the track, which added a South African flair. He captioned the video, “The other day jamming with [my friend]. Just stay in studio.”
Fans shared their excitement on social media, with many wishing for a possible collaboration between the pair. Abongile Jacobs commented, “Wow! [This] sounds really good. What a great Sunday collaboration. More hits to come. This is going to be big.” Cuthel Mashale also commented, “Looking forward to see where this project is going. Please make sure you realise it so your fans can enjoy it too.”
Prince Kaybee also teased fans with the news of new music earlier in the day, sharing an image of himself with aspiring musicians with whom he collaborated on a song. He captioned the post, “The boy dropped some knowledge today, gave upcoming songwriters and vocalists a chance to record with the boy. Created a piece of music and shared some insights on the hustle.”
