Prince Kaybee has come full circle and took to Twitter to announce that he will be a judge on a show that he was once a contestant on.
Wajelwa hitmaker Prince Kaybee has announced that he would be one of the new judges on the fifth season of SABC 1’s 1’s & 2’s. The musician gained his ticket into the industry through a talent competition when he was announced as the winner of the second season of Master of Spin but notes that he was also once a contestant on the show that he will now be judging.
He took to Twitter to make the announcement.
“Hey guys…. I would like to announce that I’m one of the New Judges on SABC 1 1’s & 2’s Season 5. The show starts on the 30th of September. It’s an honour given the fact that I was once a contestant on the very same show. Cheers to a new beginning,” he said.
The Free-State born DJ has quickly become one of South Africa’s most celebrated musicians and walked away with the coveted title of Best Male at the 24th annual South African Music Awards in June this year.
