The DJ has thrilled fans by taking to social media to announce that he plans to release his third studio album, titled ‘Re Mmino,’ in February 2019.
Popular South African house DJ, Prince Kaybee, has revealed plans to release his third studio album in February 2019. Prince Kaybee gained his ticket into the industry through a talent competition, when he was announced as the winner of the second season of Masters of Spin; a show that he is now a judge on.
The DJ has released some of South Africa’s most popular songs and club anthems, such as ‘Better Days,’ featuring Audrey, ‘Charlotte,’ featuring Lady Zamar, and more recently, ‘Club Controller,’ which features Busiswa, Zanda Zakuza, Bucie, Nokwazi, Lasoulmates, NaakMusiQ, Ziyon, Mpumi and TNS.
“My third studio album will be titled ‘Re Mmino,’ meaning ‘We Are Music.’ We were finalising the album today, listening to potential singles. It’s a beautiful album dropping in February next year,” he shared in a social media post on Wednesday, 21 November 2018. The post was accompanied by a video of the musician and his team in discussion, with one of his upcoming singles as the backing track on the video.
The DJ’s fans immediately responded to the social media post, expressing their excitement about his upcoming album, adding that they expect nothing but hit singles.
The Free State-born DJ has quickly become one of South Africa’s most celebrated musicians and walked away with the coveted title of Best Male at the 24th annual South African Music Awards in June 2018.
