ProVerb discusses television journey in new book, The Book Of ProVerb

ProVerb has released his new memoir, The Book Of ProVerb, which discusses, amongst other things, his career in the entertainment industry and his 10-year run on Idols SA.

ProVerb, real name Tebogo Thekisho, released his book, The Book Of ProVerb, on Monday, 12 October 2020, which was written alongside Paballo Rampa. The book looks back on his childhood and adolescent years, which shaped him into the multi-faceted media personality that he is today. ProVerb also discusses his rise to fame, as he started out as a musician and slowly shifted into becoming one of the most recognised South African media personalities.

ProVerb started his television career on Channel O, alongside the likes of Lungile Radu and Nonhle Thema. He explains that they were the group to take over from Phat Joe’s era, who also happens to be a major inspiration for him.

In a video shared by Idols SA on Monday, ProVerb stated, “For TV, I have a healthy dose of experience… But my most consistent and best gig was obviously Idols SA.”
