In a series of tweets published on Sunday, 5 May 2019, Migos member Quavo gave fans the opportunity to decide which album the group should release next.
American rap trio, Migos is gearing up to release its next album and ahead of their still unnamed upcoming studio album, Quavo gave fans the opportunity to choose which album they would like to hear first, out of three possible releases.
In the series of tweets, the artist engaged fans as to which of three albums, Culture lll, YRN lll or No Label lll should be released as their next album. The post generated over 15 000 likes, and over 3 000 comments from fans weighing in on which album they would like to see released.
Following his tweets, the official Migos Twitter page also produced a voting poll for audiences to vote and select the upcoming album. At the time of publishing, Culture III was sitting at 42 percent, YRN III at 36 percent and No Label III at 22 percent. The poll amassed a total of over 67 000 votes.
Initially, it was announced in 2018 that the group’s upcoming studio album would have been Culture lll, which was meant to be launched in the first quarter of the year. However, Migos member Offset revealed during a live Twitter question and answer session that the album was pushed back for a 2020 release date.
The last tweet that Quavo posted was a rousing call to his fellow band members to get ready to work together again, telling them that their time is now.
