Rea Tsotella: Pensioners get scammed while booking a holiday

Tonight’s episode of Rea Tsotella sees two elderly women being robbed of their money when booking a cruise to celebrate their retirement.

The upcoming episode of Moja Love’s Rea Tsotella tackles an illegitimate travel agent who scams two women of their money, after they booked a cruise to the Portuguese Islands. While talking to the host, Bishop I Makamu, one woman details her experience of trusting a friend who recommended a travel agent who would assist in arranging a holiday which would celebrate her retirement. The women state that the cruise amounted to R6 100 and was taken from their retirement funds. It was later discovered that the cruise was part of a scam, leaving the women with no refund whatsoever.

The trailer shows host, Bishop I Makamu, confronting the illegitimate travel agent who remains unfazed by her actions. He relates her fraudulent activities to her own circumstance, questioning how she is able to travel to Cape Town whilst stealing money from others. The episode will uncover the truth about the scammer’s intentions and will unveil if she is willing to return the money taken from her victims.

Rea Tsotella is a confrontational conflict resolution reality talk show, which focuses on family, romantic and business relationships. Host, Bishop I Makamu, serves as the mediator and helps both parties come to a constructive conclusion.
