Rosemary Zimu joins the cast of The Queen

South African actress, Rosemary Zimu, is the latest cast member to join Mzansi Magic’s popular telenovela, The Queen.

The actress took to Twitter today, 14 May 2020 to confirm the news, by sharing casting news from local publications and retweeting congratulatory messages from fans. Rosemary will be playing the role of Warona, who is the daughter of another new character, Mildred, played by Kuli Roberts. The character is said to be arriving in town to turn the heads of the community, who welcome her warmly because of her friendly and kind nature.

Rosemary is well-known for portraying the lead role in the Nigerian film, Champagne. She also gained major recognition as the character Veronica in the South African telenovela, Isidingo, and appeared in various other minor roles. Ferguson Films is yet to comment on their new addition and have not revealed when her first episode will be aired.
