Shimza aims to revive Lockdown House Party

Shimza has affirmed his intention to revive his and DJ pH’s hit music show, Lockdown House Party, in light of the country’s return to Alert Level 4 restrictions and regulations.

Shimza took to Twitter on Sunday, 27 June 2021, to affirm his intentions to bring back his hit music show, Lockdown House Party. The Channel O-televised show is the brainchild of Shimza and his co-executive producer, DJ pH. The two created the show as a virtual experience to give DJs an opportunity to play, as gatherings were prohibited during the hard lockdown in 2020.

Following President Cyril Ramaphosa announcing a return to Alert Level 4 restrictions and regulations, Shimza’s name trended on Twitter. Twitter users humorously suggested that the Shimuzic production company owner is set to return to Channel O to propose a third season of Lockdown House Party. This is as the president has prohibited gatherings for the next 14 days.

Shimza took the fact that he was trending for good reasons this time around humorously. He also affirmed that he does intend to propose the immediate return of Lockdown House Party, at least until the country returns to more lax lockdown restrictions and regulations.
