Shimza has opted to shift his focus to his businesses, as he teased the possibility of changing the venue for Kunye in order to accommodate more attendees.
Shimza took to Twitter on Wednesday, 6 October 2021, to shift the focus to one of his six business ventures, Kunye. The producer-DJ, businessman and alleged unwavering supporter of the African National Congress (ANC) has had to shift his focus to business-related content after being targeted on the platform on Tuesday, 5 October 2021. This is as Shimza attempted to go toe-to-toe with political leader, Mmusi Maimane.
Leader of One South Africa, Maimane, was commenting on the alleged R15 million spent by the ANC on building a recreation sports field. However, images of the final product left many to believe that not all the allocated funds went into building the field. Shimza attempted to defend the sports field to Maimane by suggesting that he did not have the expertise to be so assertive about his supposedly unfounded allegations.
However, Maimane rebutted and gained the support of Twitter users against Shimza, resulting in the producer-DJ stepping away from the platform. Upon his return, his focus has been titled towards promoting his six businesses, like confirming his intention of expanding the hit deep and electro afro-house event, Kunye.
