Shimza’s new single, Fight To Love, features leading vocalist of the 2010s, Maleh, who has not released new music in over eight years.
Shimza took to Instagram on Friday, 17 September 2021, to confirm the release of his new single, Fight To Love, featuring Maleh. For Shimza, the release of the song marks a continuation of the producer-DJ and businessman’s affirmation that he is set to release a string of new music. Moreover, the release of the single also marks his feat of bringing back one of the most popular voices of the mid-2000s, Maleh. Maleh stopped performing or making public appearances with no prior notice, until now.
Maleh sung on some of the biggest songs to have come out in that era, including the house classic Falling by producer-DJ, DJ Kent. The single also affirmed Maleh as one of the leading vocalists of her time. The musician released her debut and only album, Step Child in 2011. The album was acclaimed as having a time span of two years producing hits like Chimsoro. However, similar to her abrupt exit, the album is not available on Apple music. This is except for her new featured single with Shimza.
The single is available for purchase on Apple Music.
