Sho Madjozi calls on aspiring music producers to add a beat to her song Sena Ala

South African musician, Sho Madjozi, is offering aspiring producers an opportunity to collaborate with her on a new song, Sena Ala, by entering a social media competition.

In a social media post today, 20 April 2020, Sho Madjozi announced that she would be hosting a competition which allows apprising producers to earn money whilst complying to the nationwide lockdown. Sho Madjozi wrote, “Attention Producers!!! I wrote this song and it needs a beat. Use this sound, put it on a beat and post it with the hashtag #SenaAla!”. The competition closes on Sunday, 26 April 2020 and invites all producers to showcase their interpretation of the song using any genre.

Sho Madjozi shared the acapella version of the song which was accompanied by an at-home music video. The clip showed her and two other friends dancing along to the song whilst doing synchronized dance moves. A number of entrants have already submitted their interpretations under the hashtag, with many also rallying for views to increase their chances of winning.
