Sho Madjozi showcases two ensembles from her Dar es Salaam trip

Xitsonga music sensation, Sho Madjozi, is currently in Dar es Salaam as part of the NBA Without Borders initiative and has shared two styled looks from her trip.

Sho Madjozi is currently travelling to different countries in Africa as part of the NBA Without Borders initiative. The aim of the initiative is for the American basketball association to try and give back and help foster future basketballers in Africa. Following her first stop in Dakar, Senegal, the Limpopo Champions League rapper has revealed that she is currently in Dar es Salaam as part of the ongoing initiative.

The artist has also used her latest stop in Dar es Salaam to showcase her unique fashion sense, sporting two designer looks from the past week. The first look she posted was via a video on Saturday, 3 August 2019, detailing an outfit that was inspired by the official Nigerian soccer team’s jersey.

Her look, which was put together by South African stylist, Lethabo “Boogy” Maboi, featured the Nigerian soccer team’s jersey, a black and green fringed skirt and a predominantly green and black fringed jacket. In Sho Madjozi signature style, the rapper paired the outfit with sneakers and her braided hair.

In her video showcasing the movement of the fringes, she acknowledged her stylist, writing, “Styled By Boogy did the most here.” Sharing another video on Sunday, 4 August 2019, Sho Madjozi revealed her second designer look from her trip in Dar es Salaam.

Her second look was an evening wear gown made up of multi-layered ruffles hooked on a beaded shoulder piece. The artist coupled the look with a Ndebele-inspired gold neck piece, shades and an assortment of bangles. In the video, the Huku hitmaker can be seen walking on the street with a group of local young girls, with the video slowed down for effect.

In her caption to the post, Sho Madjozi fittingly states, “Dar es Salaam you are too much.”
