Producer and writer, Shona Ferguson, has taken to social media to introduce the masses to two characters who will appearing in the upcoming drama series, Kings Of Jo’burg.
The producer, who founded the production company Ferguson Films, alongside his wife, Connie Ferguson, has shared another teaser about the highly-anticipated drama series. Shona Ferguson took to Twitter on Monday, 2 September 2019, to share an image of himself and Zolisa Xaluva who will be playing brothers, Simon and Mogotsi Masire. Zolisa Xaluva commented on the picture, stating, “People who know me will tell you how I’m not a fan of taking pictures. But, I couldn’t resist this moment.”
Shona Ferguson continues to tease fans with behind-the-scenes images and footage from the set, however, keeping tight-lipped on the official storyline of the series. Media personalities, Bohang Moeko, Nina Hastie and TT Mbha commented on the picture, each leaving various emojis to show their support for the production. Fans also commented on the most recent revelation of Kings of Jo’burg, with Brenda Kambaila stating, “This is a dangerous combination. I can’t wait to see the mess you two create.”
The upcoming series stars Shona Ferguson, Zolisa Xaluva, Masechaba Ndlovu, Tsholo Matshaba and American actress, Terri J Vaughn. Ferguson Films is yet to reveal the premiere date for the series, although according to fan speculation, Kings Of Jo’burg should be ready for release in late 2019 or early 2020.
