Simphiwe Ngema and Tino Chinyani’s baby is speculated to be a baby girl, following a video of the model holding a firelight with purple smoke.
Tino Chinyani took to Twitter to hint at the gender of his first child with a retweeted video on Thursday, 13 August 2020. The video was initially posted on Monday, 10 August 2020, and features the model jet skiing while holding a firelight producing purple smoke. This is in line with the recent trend to ignite a firelight to announce the gender of the baby, which is indicated by the colour of the smoke.
Tino’s firelight produced purple smoke, suggesting that he and Simphiwe are expecting a girl. In contemporary and politically conscious families, pink and blue are no longer used. Many have opted for shades of purple to signify a girl, and shades of green to signify a boy. Simphiwe Ngema and Tino Chinyani are yet to officially announce their baby’s gender.
