Sizwe Dhlomo lambasted a Twitter user in an arguably below-the-belt comment, after they disagreed over Jay-Z’s verse on Kanye West’s upcoming album.
Sizwe Dhlomo took to Twitter on Sunday, 25 July 2021, to lambast a user for his alleged fake NY cap. This was after the user disagreed with Dhlomo over his sentiments on Jay-Z’s verse on the reunion single between Jay-Z and Kanye West. Dhlomo had taken to Twitter on Saturday, 24 July 2021, and wrote, “Now that we’re all calm, let’s be honest… That Jay-Z verse was a** cheeks!”
In response, the user suggested that Dhlomo was used to the pop charts that is why the verse went over his head. Considering that Dhlomo earned his “street credentials” as an influential voice in hip-hop through his YFM hit show with Scoop Makhathini, it seems that the comment offended him more than it should have, as he shifted the topic from the song to the alleged lack of authenticity of the Twitter user’s cap. This resulted in the Twitter user corroborating the authenticity of his cap.
