The Cape Town International Jazz Festival has announced its decision to remove Sjava from its line-up for this year’s festival, following abuse allegations levelled against him.
On Monday, 2 March 2020, the Cape Town International Jazz Festival announced that due to the abuse allegations levelled against Sjava, they have decided to remove him from the line-up. The announcement was received with mixed emotions from social media users. Lady Zamar, who is also part of this year’s line-up, recently spoke out about the alleged abuse she suffered at the hands of her ex-boyfriend, Sjava. Sjava has not yet commented on his removal.
