Skeem Saam: Mapitsi feels increasingly uncomfortable in her own home

Monday night’s episode of the South African drama series, Skeem Saam, saw Marothi trying to piece together what Rachel’s intentions were for trying to shoot Lelo.

The latest episode of SABC 1’s Skeem Saam, which aired on Monday, 26 August 2019, saw Rachel recovering from her confrontation with Lelo, which saw both women pointing a gun at one another, before Lelo pulled the trigger, narrowly missing Rachel and Marothi. That night, Rachel woke up with a nightmare, where she envisioned Marothi dying because of a gunshot. Marothi took notice of Rachel’s peculiar behaviour and asked her if she did, in fact, burn the factory down, claiming that he would not judge his wife if she did. Rachel became furious, and questioned Marothi’s trust towards her.

Viewers shared their thoughts on Marothi’s suspicions, with many stating that it is normal for a spouse to question their partner if they are acting strange. A viewer shared a tweet which stated, “I find it funny how Rachel’s family thinks that Marothi is the one leading her astray, when she’s the only one to blame for her outrageous actions.” Nokwazi Makukula also commented with, “For a moment there I thought Marothi was really shot until I realized that Rachel was having a nightmare.”

The upcoming episode of Skeem Saam sees Lehasa catching Lelo in a lie and confronting her about her dishonestly. Ramolao has an urgent request for MaNtuli regarding the action lawsuit meeting, and someone posts a nasty comment on Mapitsi’s blog.

Skeem Saam airs weekdays at 18:30 on SABC 1.
