Stino Le Thwenny release new single, Tsele, featuring Kwesta

Stino Le Thwenny have released their second single of the year, Tsele, featuring Kwesta, which tackles the contentious “men are trash” narrative.

Stino Le Thwenny took to Twitter on Friday, 28 May 2021, to confirm the release of their new single, Tsele, featuring Kwesta. The up-and-coming South African duo has solidified its growing popularity in the music industry through acquiring co-signs from some of the leading rappers in the industry. Their debut single of the year was Mshimane 2.0, featuring Khuli Chana and K.O.

On Tsele, the rappers tackle the contentious ”men are trash” narrative. The Sesotho title translates to “dirt” in English. Therefore, the artists use the single to explore and unpack some of the stereotypes and generalisations about men. The single is conscious and the focus is the lyrical content, as the beat plays under the artists’ vocals and is minimal.

The single is set to be complemented by the release of the music video, which is scheduled for release on Friday, 28 May 2021, at 14:00 on YouTube.

The single is available for purchase on Apple Music.
