Producer and deejay, Supta, has released his latest single, Tsa Tsa, featuring continued collaborators; vocalist, Ndovukazi, and acclaimed producer-deejay, Prince Kaybee.
On Friday, 1 November 2019, YFM’s Supta, released his single, Tsa Tsa, featuring Ndlovukazi and Prince Kaybee. The single continues to grow the catalogue of the DJ whose first single, Das, was an afro and electronic dance house track that he worked on with Lowkey Records signees, Afro Brotherz, and released it under the collective stage, Drumatic Souls.
Tsa Tsa further explores this sound and unlike Das, Tsa Tsa sways more into the mainstream sound, highlighting the influence of featured artist, Prince Kaybee. Ndlovukazi provides a structure and progression with her vocals and Prince Kaybee’s influence can be heard with the introduction of strings, drums and horns, which provide a live element to the single.
The song marks the artists’ second collaborative project, having previously worked on Prince Kaybee’s current hit single, Gugulethu. The single was released from his current album, Re Mmino, on Friday, 21 June 2019.
Supta first released the official artwork of the single on Thursday, 10 October 2019, and also announced its release date. He then enticed his followers with a snippet of the single on Monday, 14 October 2019, and started the official countdown to the song’s release on Tuesday, 29 October 2019.
