Supta has released his much-anticipated collaborative single with Lady Zamar, Haha, which hears an afro-jazz rhythm complemented by the singer’s signature pop sound.
Supta’s latest single, Haha, featuring Lady Zamar, was released today, 22 January 2021. The song was teased by both artists on social media for many days, however, they had chosen not to preview it ahead of the day of its release.
Lyrically, Haha is about someone who is constantly hearing bad things being said about them by an insignificant person. Instead of responding to them with equal hate, the song promotes laughing off the negativity and focusing on the good that is going on in your life.
Supta delivers an afro-jazz beat with an intricate electric guitar instrumental. He also adds house elements, which slightly drown out Lady Zamar’s voice. The singer maintains her pop sound for Haha, with the chorus being a literal laugh that has been made into the hook of the song.
The single is available for purchase on Apple Music.
