Tonight’s episode of Survivor SA sees Jacques in a heated confrontation with the rest of his tribe members, resulting in his ostracization from the group.
The upcoming episode of M-Net’s Survivor SA, which airs tonight, 15 August 2019, sees a tribe attacking Jacques after his surprising decision not to play his idol in last week’s tribal council. The last tribal council saw Jacques explicitly state that he would be using his idol to ensure his immunity, so that he would be able to bring his wife to the island for the family visit at the next reward challenge. This led the tribe to vote Cobus out instead of him. Surprisingly, after the votes were tallied, Jacques did not play his idol, resulting in him being safe for another week with his idol still intact.
The preview for tonight’s episode sees Jacques trying to defend himself after making a comment that upsets the tribe. Letitia quickly snaps back at him and Steffi states that he will need to play harder than ever before to survive in the game as everyone will be focused on getting him out in the next tribal council. Kingpin Rob also advises everyone not to have one-on-one conversations with him, which leads Jacques to feeling hopeless.
Known as a strategic threat and a player who has unlimited knowledge about the game, Jacques states that he is disappointed in himself for letting his words damage his position in the game.
