Survivor SA producers share insights on upcoming eighth season

Survivor SA producers, Handrie Basson and Leroux Botha, have shared information on the upcoming eighth season of the show, which will see contestants battling it out for 39 days for the R1 million prize.  

During a press conference held in Sun City on Wednesday, 5 February 2020, Survivor SA producers confirmed that the upcoming season will see the contestants compete for 39 days on a secret location, dubbed Immunity Island. Joined by host, Nico Pangio, and season seven winner, Rob Bentele, as well as runner-up, Nicole Capper, the panel shared that they are currently in the process of casting, with the season expected to air in late 2020.
