Survivor SA: Rob asserts himself as the Kingpin

Thursday’s episode of Survivor SA saw the Manumalo tribe members rally around Rob as he decided who would be voted out in last night’s tribal council.

The latest episode of M-Net’s Survivor SA, which aired on Thursday, 18 July 2019, saw Rob assert his dominance on the island, by winning the individual immunity idol and delegating who would be voted out at tribal council. Known for his superior physical abilities and strategic game plan, the other members of the tribe found it best to follow his command to progress further in the game. The latest castaway. Geoff, was seen struggling to convince the other contestants to save him, after he caught wind that Rob deemed him the next to go. Tribal council went exactly according to Rob’s plan, with Geoff being the latest castaway and second member of the jury.

Viewers weighed in on last night’s action on social media, with Alex Isaks tweeting, “Disappointed that Geoffrey is gone!!!!!!! [I] Cannot believe people are giving Rob all that power. Typical Survivor…Annoying.” Corey Ants also stated, “Rob is the kingpin right now and I feel like a downfall will happen soon.” Sheldon Kappan commented on the show in its entirety, stating, “It’s all about the equilibrium…. Gutted about the vote last night but another big vote that is shaping the game exactly how Jacques wants it…a lot of people saw Thanos rebalancing the universe as for the greater good. Good game.”

Next week’s episode of Survior SA sees the Manumalo tribe continue to find its place in the leadership rank. Tensions flare as they question each other’s efforts whilst one tribe member remains on top.

Survivor SA airs on Thursdays at 19:00 on M-Net, DStv channel 101.
