Survivor SA: Seipei surprisingly content with her exit from the show

Thursday night’s episode of Survivor SA saw Seipei being the latest tribe member to be voted off, following an epic blindside.

In the latest episode of M-Net’s Survivor SA, which aired on Thursday, 25 July 2019, Seipei, known as the mother-hen of the group, was voted out in a perfect blindside orchestrated by her number one alliance member, Rob. Up until being voted off, Seipei was under the impression that Mmba was on the chopping block, hence she was caught completely off guard when she was deemed the latest castaway in last night’s tribal council.

Speaking with JustNje, Seipei stated, “I’m in high spirits. Great blindside, I’m not complaining at all. I think that’s the way to leave this game of Survivor. If you’re not going to end up at the end, what better way than to be given a great blindside. I’m really proud, I really think I played a great game. It was lovely to watch everyone squirm and really try hard to get me off and for the realisation that I have been such a big influence and the puppet master or mother hen as they’d put it.”

When asked how her fellow tribe members would cope without her influence, Seipei stated, “Those relationships, I literally nurtured. Without me there, I’m not sure how Stephi, Nicole or Rob are going to survive. I know the characters and I know how strong those characters are, and without a buffer in between, I foresee chaos.”

Seipei will serve as the third member of the jury, following Meryl and last week’s castaway, Geoff. Seiepi detailed what she would be looking for when casting her final vote, stating, “Somebody who played the game. Somebody who was cognisant of the other castaways. Somebody who was not a number and I’m hoping Mmba is given the opportunity to rise.”

Survivor SA airs on Thursdays at 19:00 on M-Net, DStv channel 101.
