Still hit-maker Tamia will be making her way to South Africa this week for a three-city tour which will see her take to Pretoria, Cape Town and Durban respectively.
R&B lovers around the country are gearing up to see award-winning songstress Tamia as she returns to South Africa this weekend for a three-city tour. Upon her third visit to South Africa in April 2014, Tamia shared why she keeps coming back to South Africa. In an interview on SABC 3’s Expresso on 25 April 2014, she commented:
“The reason why I come back, as an entertainer, you go where the love is right? So when I’m on stage, there’s just so much love, everyone is just such a fan of music and R&B, that it’s actually a good time. It doesn’t feel like work or anything, I just go out there and have fun.”
The songstress will be supported by the award-winning Lady Zamar, who is currently working on her upcoming album following the success of her 2017 debut album King Zamar. The album spawned hit singles such as Love Is Blind, Collide and It’s You – Dreaming.
The tour will kick off this coming Friday, 22 February 2019 at the Sun Arena Time Square in Menlyn, Pretoria. Thereafter, the show will be heading to the Mother City on Saturday, 23 February 2019, for a performance at A Track in Green Point, before wrapping up in Durban on Sunday, 24 February 2019, at the Durban Botanical Gardens.
Tickets for the shows are available for purchase from Webtickets, retailing between R395 and R895. Each show is expected to be four hours long.
