Tellaman becomes Apple Music’s First Pan African New Artist Spotlight

The song comes off of the musician’s debut album titled God Decides, which is due to be released on Friday, 1 February 2019.

RnB newcomer, Tellaman, has on Friday, 25 January 2019, announced that his latest single, Whipped, is now available on all digital platforms.

The song, which features singer Shekhinah and rapper Nasty C, is the fourth track on his upcoming debut album, God Decides. This the fourth single that has been released so far following the release of the songs, Hit Me Up, No Sharing (The Distance) and Perfect Ain’t Coming But We’ll Be Alright.

Other artists featured on the album are Rowlene on ‘Note To Self (UDI)’ and crownedYung on ‘Calm Down’. Tellaman’s management, Universal Music, said in a statement on Tuesday, 15 January 2019, that the artist’s music blurs the boundaries of genre “combining the normal lines one would expect from a rapper with melodies from an RnB singer.” The musician said his new material showed personal growth.

“I have grown as a musician and a human being,” he said. “I have learnt from my previous mistakes and I am confident that my fans will hear that in my music.” He said he worked especially hard on God Decides. “For this project I have gone the extra mile in terms of the quality of the sound,” he said. God Decides will be released on Friday, 1 February 2019. The album is currently available for pre-order.
