The Bachelor SA: Jess R furiously exits after not receiving a rose

The Bachelor SA’s Thursday episode saw Jess R leaving the show, after the previous episode’s cliffhanger, which saw her in disbelief at not receiving a rose.

The Bachelor SA’s latest episode, which aired on M-Net on Thursday, 21 May 2020, saw Jess R finally accepting her fate and furiously leaving the show. During her conversation with Marc, he explained that he found her manipulative and didn’t think that they were compatible. Furious by his remarks, Jess explained that what he had done was wrong, and was outraged at his opinion of her.

Upon her exit from The Bachelor SA, Jess R declined to be interviewed, instead, offering a statement to the media. She stated, “I applied for this show because I am ready to meet my life partner and decided to try something a little different. I am looking for a man that wants to grow with me and be committed to a long-term, healthy relationship. A partner in crime. A shoulder to lean on. I know I am a strong person, I have been through a lot (we all have!) and I just need to know that I will have someone who can support me when I need it the most. Marc has proven to me that he was not my man, and that’s okay. I need a man who will not run from conflict, but will instead be open and express and discuss his concerns in a positive way, rather than turn a blind eye and ignore.”

Jess R went on to explain that she believes that she does need ned a man to make her feel complete or happy, as she is able to achieve that on her own. She concluded with, “I am very happy to be a strong, independent woman who doesn’t need a man beside her to define her worth.”
