The annual DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival is set to take place at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Midrand, Johannesburg, for its fourth consecutive year.
The DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival is set to take place at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Midrand for the fourth year running. The two-day festival will run from Saturday, 21 September to Sunday, 22 September 2019, celebrating the best of local and international music and cuisine.
Each of the two days has an international musical act that will headline the festival and will be supported by some of the biggest local and international names in music today. For the Saturday edition of the festival, British singer and songwriter, Corrine Bailey Rae, headlines the music performances.
The singer will be supported by notable names, including Nigerian female vocalist, Tiwa Savage and South African-based producer and DJ, Ralf Gum. The DJ will play some of his biggest hit singles, featuring live performances from vocalists like Monique Bingham, Portia Monique, Ayanda Jiya and afro-group, Mafikizolo.
On the second day of the festival, American singer, Raphael Saadiq headlines the performances. He will be supported by musicians like South African female vocalists, Shekhinah, Lira and New York-based music group, Tortured Soul and Lisa Shaw.
The list of the restaurants, foods and celebrity chefs and food aficionados who will be at the event has yet to be revealed by the festival. In the past, however, popular names in the food industry like Reza Mahammad, Siba Mtongana, Jenny Morris and Pete Goffe-Wood have featured, giving live food demonstrations.
Early bird passes for the festival are still available retailing at R550for a single day’s general access pass and R900 for a general access weekend pass. Loyalty customers will also receive a discounted price on ticket sales..
There is also the availability of lounges and luxury suites, which cost between R1 550.00 and R7 820.00.
