The Lowdown With Thomas Gumede’s Thursday night episode was the season finale, and saw Thomas looking back at what made the series popular during lockdown.

The Lowdown With Thomas Gumede’s season finale aired on Mzansi Magic on Thursday, 10 September 2020. The final episode saw Thomas reflecting on what made the series popular to begin with, crediting its success to their showcase of viral videos. The episode also saw Thomas being joined by DJ Sbu, who discussed his entrepreneurship journey and his expansion of the MoFaya brand.

Thereafter, Thomas was joined by Somizi Mhlongo and Mohale Motaung, who discussed their journey to the altar. They expressed how much they appreciate the support and acceptance by their friends and family. They also revealed that they are planning to welcome twins in the year 2022, and have decided to use surrogacy to start their family.

Thomas shared a message of gratitude on Twitter, thanking fans for their continuous support throughout the season. He stated, “Thank you for all the support and positive feedback! Thank you to all our guests who gave of their time and energy to make our show amazing!”
