The Queen incorporates points from President Cyril Ramaphosa’s address on the coronavirus into storyline

Mzansi Magic’s popular weekday drama series, The Queen, has made an attempt to highlight the seriousness of the coronavirus outbreak by adding points from President Cyril Ramaphosa’s address into its storyline.

The latest episode of Mzansi Magic’s The Queen, which aired on Monday, 16 March 2020, saw Shona Ferguson’s character, Captain Jerry Maake, entering Thato’s restaurant and informing him about the seriousness of the coronavirus. He explained that it was important to keep their kitchen sterile and implement President Ramaphosa’s orders to avoid contact with other people.
