The Ollingers are back for another season of treasure hunting at Blind Frog Ranch, but now they also have to deal with claim jumpers delaying their progress.
Duane Ollinger, his son, Chad Ollinger, and the rest of their treasure-hunting team have come up against just about everything during their quest to find the rumored Aztec treasure hidden on Blind Frog Ranch.
This includes freak weather changes, an ever-elusive cave system hidden beneath the surface of the property and even an unknown energy surge which often interferes with the functioning of their equipment.
How the Ollingers found the Blind Frog Ranch claim jumpers
But now that the third season of Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch has finally hit the air, it seems like Ollingers will face yet another obstacle in their search for this rumored treasure. They have now come across an encampment of claim jumpers on the property.
While these claim jumpers tried to give the impression that they have legitimate mining claims to the Ollingers’ land, they scattered pretty quickly once Duane and Chad confronted them and called in the authorities.
But since Duane and Chad have not addressed this incident publicly yet, it seems like fans will just have to stay tuned for the rest of the season to see how all of this transpires.
What to expect for Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch season three
The finer details about what we can expect for the rest of season three of Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch have been just as few and far between as the details about the supposed treasure which is hidden somewhere on the Ollingers’ property.
Fortunately, just like the Ollingers, we can look to the past to find answers for what lies ahead for this most recent season.
The details for the first two seasons of Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch are as follows:

Blind Frig Ranch’s Head of Security
If you are a longtime Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch fan, you may already know that season two ended on a particularly stressful note, when both Charlie Snider (Duane’s confidant and Blind Frog Ranch’s Head of Security) and Duane were hospitalized and heading to the hospital, respectively.
Fortunately, both of these fan-favorite characters are seemingly back in action in season three, which is a good thing, considering all of the chaos that has ensued in just the first episode.
And if this claim jumper drama continues in this season, Charlie may just have to put his more than 20 years of experience as a sheriff in the Ozarks to use.
What are the claim jumpers hoping to find
Although there was not much of an interaction between the Ollingers’ team and the claim jumpers before the sheriff’s department intervened in this episode, we can assume that Duane and Chad’s assumptions about their motives are correct.
Though there are some larger government conspiracies (and now even some intergalactic conspiracies) surrounding the Ollingers’ land, it is all the more likely that these claim jumpers are simply after the same rumored treasure that the Ollingers are trying to track down.
What will happen now?
The biggest issue that the Ollingers face with the trespassers that they have found on their property throughout the series is that they are surrounded by land which is owned by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).
The Bureau of Land Management typically uses this land for conservation, recreational space, energy development and a variety of other uses.
But since this land covers about one tenth of America’s total land base, it is impossible for the bureau to keep a close eye on everything that is happening on these acres of open space.
Thus, these trespassers can often come and go from Blind Frog Ranch quite easily.
In the end, all the Ollingers and the rest of the team can really do if these claim jumpers return in the future is to file more official reports with the sheriff’s department.
However, it seems like Duane may have a few more sinister plans up his sleeves, so things may just get interesting towards the end of season three.
