The latest episode of Moja Love’s Uyajola 9/9, which aired on Sunday, 14 July 2019, saw a calm and composed young woman confront her boyfriend, who was inevitably found guilty of cheating on her. Once confronted, her boyfriend began screaming profanities and questioned her faithfulness as a defence against his. As his temper mounted, host Jub Jub and other crew members tried to control him as he comically scaled the guard’s body. He was later seen laying on the ground in defeat, before jumping up and charging towards his girlfriend, as the crew members tried to refrain him.

Fans shared their praise for the episode on social media, with many stating it was the best so far due to the outrageous antics from the boyfriend, as well as Jub Jub’s response to his actions. Toller Dainty Mqamu shared a comment on Facebook stating, “Episode of the season! Best episode ever!”. Whilst Nja YaTeng commented on the premise of the show, stating, “The truth is that every woman who goes to Uyajola 9/9 already knows their partners are cheating, they are just there to make sure they ruin whatever is left of your reputation”.

Uyajola 9/9 showcases a South African twist on the hit American reality show Cheaters. The series allows frustrated partners to find out if their significant other has been unfaithful, as they suspect. The show follows an intense investigation and concludes with the revelation of the person’s loyalty, or lack thereof.
