Watch Bongo Maffin’s new Harare music video

South African kwaito group Bongo Maffin released the music video for their new single Harare on Thursday, 7 February 2019.
The legendary group, led by singer Thandiswa Mazwai, released their debut album The Concerto in 1998, which was followed by Bongolution in 2001 and New Construction in 2005, with each of their albums individually winning a South African Music Award (SAMA).
The music video for Harare was shot partly in the titled city as well as in South Africa. The song delves into the idea of combining the two countries as friendly neighbouring countries.
The refreshing song incorporates their afro-beat and soul sound, whilst lyrically singing about the Zimbabwean capital city and about one’s state of mind.
