Jessie Reyez ft 6LACK - Imported

Canadian singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez and hip-hop and R&B artist 6LACK released the music video for their collaborative single Imported on Wednesday, 10 April 2019.

The Peter Huang-directed music video shows the pair wandering around an empty house, delivering their individual verses in different rooms. The rapper opens the visuals in a bare kitchen and bedroom, with Reyez appearing on a single chair in the living room. The artists are also seen together, performing the song with their backs against one another, representing the disjointed relationship between them.

6LACK opens the song admitting he lacks morals but tries to maintain them on specific days. Reyez follows with the chorus, which deals with the crisis of identity and talks about a relationship with unequal expectations. The music video has amassed over one hundred and fifty thousand views on YouTube in under 24 hours.
