On Friday, 3 May 2019, South African musician Mampintsha released the music video for his latest single Khona Iyngane Lay’Ndlini.
The single features the vocal talents of DJ Tira and Babes Wodumo and on the production, Mampintsha worked with duo Campmasters.
Shot by Pilot Films, the music video follows the lyrical content of the Gqom-led song, which is delivered in isiZulu, about Mamapintsha’s car keys being stolen, and him not being able to leave the house to look for them because there are children in the house, which he has to look after.
The music video starts with Babes Wodumo and fellow Durban artist, Tipcee stealing Mampintsha’s car keys. The music video then becomes a wild goose chase of Mampintsha looking for his car, only to find that the car had been safely returned when he makes his way back home.
